Talk with Professor Edgar Choueiri on the Spatial Aspect of Sound

Bio: Edgar Choueiri is Professor of Applied Physics at Princeton University, where he teaches plasma physics, astronautics, acoustics and audio science. He heads two laboratories at Princeton. In the first, the Electric Propulsion and Plasma Dynamics Laboratory, he works with his research team on plasma rockets for propelling spacecraft to Mars and beyond. In the second, the 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics Lab he works on spatial audio technologies for applications in music and virtual/augmented reality. He has published more than 220 journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and encyclopedia articles, and is the recipient of numerous honors and awards. He was also the subject of an extensive profile in the New Yorker magazine.
